Scam taxi warning in Da Nang

Just wanted to share a quick warning for anyone arriving in Da Nang for the first time. Be careful with taxi drivers approaching you inside the airport or outside tourist areas. Some pretend to be Grab drivers or quote very high prices, especially for trips to Hoi An. I’ve also heard about drivers using fast-running meters or suddenly changing the price during the trip. My recommendation: Use Grab or Be app Double check the license plate before getting in Avoid random drivers approaching you first If possible, pre-book airport transportation Da Nang is generally safe and friendly, but it’s still good to stay careful with transportation scams.
