The Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) has long been one of Vietnam’s most anticipated summer events. In 2025, the festival returns bigger, longer, and more spectacular than ever before, featuring six nights of world-class fireworks performances. Bringing together 10 outstanding teams from Asia, Europe, and the Americas, along with a variety of exciting side events and entertainment activities, DIFF 2025 promises to deliver the most vibrant summer celebration ever seen in the coastal city of Da Nang.

1. DIFF 2025 Theme

The official theme of DIFF 2025 is “Da Nang – The New Rising Era.”

More than just a slogan, this theme reflects Da Nang’s dynamic transformation, innovation, and ambitious vision for the future. Through breathtaking fireworks displays, the festival will blend traditional cultural values with modern creativity and technology, symbolizing a new chapter of growth and prosperity for the city.

2. When Will DIFF 2025 Take Place?

DIFF 2025 will be held every Saturday from May 31 to July 12, 2025, spanning six weeks (except July 5).

The festival will kick off with a grand opening night at the end of May, followed by a series of international fireworks competitions and culminating in the spectacular final night on July 12.

Each competition night will feature a unique theme, ensuring fresh and memorable experiences throughout the festival.

3. DIFF 2025 Venue

The festival will take place along the eastern bank of the Han River, particularly on Tran Hung Dao Street, a location that has become synonymous with DIFF over the past 12 years.

Fireworks will be launched from the eastern side of the river, while the main grandstands will be located on the western bank, providing spectators with panoramic views of the dazzling displays against the beautiful backdrop of the Han River.

4. Participating Teams

DIFF 2025 will welcome 10 fireworks teams from 9 countries across three continents.

For the first time in the festival’s history, Vietnam will be represented by two competing teams:

  • Da Nang Team (Vietnam 1)
  • Z121 Chemical Company (Vietnam 2)

International competitors include leading fireworks teams from:

These teams are renowned worldwide for their creativity, technical excellence, and spectacular pyrotechnic performances.
