Unique Experiences at Bay Mau Coconut Forest

One of the most interesting things visitors often mention about Bay Mau Coconut Forest is the feeling of experiencing the atmosphere of Vietnam’s Mekong Delta right in Central Vietnam. Here, you can sit on a traditional basket boat and enjoy the peaceful scenery as you glide along narrow waterways lined entirely with coconut palms — a landscape usually associated with the southwestern provinces of Vietnam.

Another charming experience is receiving simple handmade gifts from the local boat rowers. Using coconut leaves from the forest, they skillfully create grasshoppers, rings, flowers, bracelets, glasses, and many other small souvenirs. These handmade items bring back childhood memories and add a warm countryside touch to the journey.

The famous basket boat spinning performances are also unforgettable. The energetic, dizzying, and entertaining dance on the water often leaves visitors laughing and amazed at the skill of the boat rowers.

Today, Bay Mau Coconut Forest also offers many cultural activities that reflect the local identity, such as traditional folk singing, fishing, and net casting experiences. Joining these activities allows visitors to better understand and appreciate the nature, culture, and people of Quang Nam Province.
